One of our friends here at Oxford was nice enough to invite a group of us to her house for Sunday lunch today. She lives about an hour outside of Oxford in the town of Cirencester in the Cotswolds [where Elizabeth Hurley lives!]. It was a beautiful drive out into the country. It's miles of rolling green hills, flocks of sheep, and picturesque villages. Cirencester was an old Roman settlement, once called Corinium. Even today residents still find remnants of ancient mosaics and statues in their gardens.
