Quarantine Life: Day 71, Bay Area Heat Wave
It’s Day 71 of the quarantine and we’re in the middle of a certified Bay Area heatwave. Yesterday peaked at about 95 degrees and today’s temperatures jumped into triple digits. Our central AC works fine when the temperature outside is about 85 or below. Anything hotter than that and the AC isn’t much help. That’s why we have three strategically placed fans to help circulate the air. Grant also uses a trick he learned from his parents of waking up early to open all the windows and let some cool air in before the days starts getting toasty. What are your tips and tricks to staying quarantine cool?
This daily blog post series is our way of sharing our experience with you, our readers. We’ll talk about our daily routines, adjustments to working from home, recipes based on limited ingredients and any other topic that comes to mind. It’s our way of connecting with the “outside” world, while also giving us the opportunity to look within and reflect on what we’re experiencing and how we’re feeling. Thanks for your interest in sharing this journey with us. Stay tuned and be well.
