Quarantine Life: Day 25, Neighbors Helping Neighbors
I recently opened my Nextdoor app and found a new feature called Help Map. It allows people to offer their services to the elderly and other neighbors in need, whether it’s running essential errands or doing phone check-ins. My local Help Map shows dozens of neighbors offering to pick up groceries/medicine, perform emergency plumbing/electrical repairs, walk dogs and prep meals for others who may need help during this public health crisis. What a great way to be of service to others.
