Quarantine Life: Day 35, Free Shakespeare
Have you finished watching virtually everything on Netflix? We have, too. That’s why I was happy to see that the Globe Theatre in London is offering free streaming of their productions on YouTube. I’ve always dreamed of seeing a play at the Globe Theatre one day. This will definitely do for now. As I said, it’s free to watch, but the theater is also accepting donations.
Here’s a look at the schedule:
Romeo and Juliet (2009) is available until May 3
The Two Noble Kinsmen (2018), May 4-17
The Winter’s Tale (2018), May 18-31
The Merry Wives of Windsor (2019), June 1-14
A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2013), June 15-28
This daily blog post series is our way of sharing our experience with you, our readers. We’ll talk about our daily routines, adjustments to working from home, recipes based on limited ingredients and any other topic that comes to mind. It’s our way of connecting with the “outside” world, while also giving us the opportunity to look within and reflect on what we’re experiencing and how we’re feeling. Thanks for your interest in sharing this journey with us. Stay tuned and be well.
